Report: City Office Space Is a Bargain

By Special to the Sun | February 14, 2007

With rents at $80-plus a square foot, midtown Manhattan's office space is a bargain, a new report claims, at least when compared with London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and other cities worldwide.

In a report expected to be released today listing the world's most expensive office space markets, real estate service firm Cushman and Wakefield ranks New York as the ninth, down from seventh in 2006, despite the 28% rent increase last year.
