Alice Tully Hall Will Reopen February 2009

By Staff Reporter of the Sun | May 6, 2008

The president of Lincoln Center, Reynold Levy, will announce today that Alice Tully Hall will reopen on February 22, 2009, with a two-week schedule of performances in celebration of its renovation.

The opening programming will include nine premieres, and tickets for all performances will cost $25 or less, Crain's New York Business reported. The renovation, which began last May, is the largest project in the overall renovation of Lincoln Center and includes a new auditorium and a three-story glass lobby. Architecture firms Diller Scofidio & Renfro and FXFowle collaborated on the design.
