Pras Michel, formerly of the hiphop trio the Fugees, lived on the streets of Skid Row for nine straight days and nights as a homeless person, discovering the desperation, hope, humor, and despair that go with the territory.

In this family film with a nod to "Flipper," 14-year-old Alyssa (Carly Schroeder) travels to the Bahamas following her mother's death to meet her estranged father, Hawk (Adrian Dunbar). As it turns out, Hawk is a dolphin researcher. Soon, Alyssa discovers she shares her father's gift for communicating with dolphins. When greedy outsiders threaten to shut down her father's research station, Alyssa and her dolphin must buddy up to save the day.
