Republicans are very excited about this, but I'm not really sure why.
ABC's Terry McCarthy reports in the segment that Baghdad is safer after the surge. But that's not such a big surprise. More troops = more security. But what happens in the rest of the country or once the surge ends?
This might make John McCain's comments after a recent visit to a Baghdad market look a bit less foolish, but it doesn't really mark any serious turn in the war.
