For the real Fred Heads out there, here's the full video of his speech in CT:

You can watch a bigger version here.

Here are some of the highlights of the video:

Opener: "All right, let's get the announcement out of the way. … ‘Law & Order' will return for an 18th season."

Woman from the audience: "We need you for a different job!"

Biggest whopper of the night: "I'm not here to make a pitch to you tonight."

Best canned line of the night: "After eight years in Washington, I longed for the sincerity of Hollywood."

On the immigration compromise: "We are now living in a nation that is beset by people who are suicidal maniacs. … We're sitting here now with essentially open borders. … They [Washington politicians] don't get it that putting it on a piece of paper anymore [border enforcement], even passing it into law, does not convince the American people that they will do what they say they're going to do."

On Republican voters: "We've got to give them somewhere to go."

On Iraq: "Our choice is where we will fight."

On the 2006 election losses: "I think it had a lot more to do with pork-barrel spending and corruption than it did Iraq."

On what Republicans need to do: "We should get our own house together."

(PS: Motionbox is a really neat service. It lets you upload much bigger videos than YouTube does and lets you tag specific sections of them. I don't think we here at Latest Politics will be moving everything over — YouTube still has a great network effect going on — but this is a very useful site more people should be using.)
