Want some polling about who's going to win Washington in 2008? Now, what if I told you I was talking about Washington state?

Thought so.

Nonetheless, there's a new poll out of Washington (by Moore Information, May 21-22, 529 registered voters), and it reads: In a general election between Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani, she would win 40%-35%; in a general election with Mr. Giuliani up against Barack Obama, Mr. Obama would win 42%-32%.

It's not much of a surprise. Washington is a pretty blue state. Maybe somewhat interesting that Mr. Obama does better than Mrs. Clinton. And losing by only 5 points in Washington is decent for Mr. Giuliani; President Bush lost by 7 points in Washington in 2004, even before the Republican Party hit bottom.
