Just adding on to my column from this morning...
The Wall Street Journal treads on similar ground, discussing the general vacuousness of a campaign based on "non-partisanship."
This is the key sentence: "Pragmatism is not the sole province of the Mike Bloombergs of the world. But calls on our politicians to be more pragmatic are usually, in practice, calls for them to agree with whoever is doing the calling."
