A new poll has Fred Thompson edging him out for first place in the Republican primary. (Though, maybe this will lead to Mr. Thompson finally receiving some actual skepticism from voters and pundits.)
His Iowa campaign head leaves for a White House gig. (Though, maybe this is a nice back-door way for the campaign to claim an endorsement from someone in the White House.)
He's hit hard for dropping out of the Iraq Study Group. (Though, maybe it's best he didn't end up associated with its unpopular and ultimately ignored recommendations.)
And, last but far from least, his South Carolina campaign chairman is busted for allegedly dealing coke!!! (Though, maybe ... OK, there's nothing good about this.)
