Predictable, but quite disappointing (especially after a debate shout-out to New Hampshire's "Live Free or Die" slogan): Rudy Giuliani opposes medical marijuana.
As reported by Reason's David Weigel:
MURPHY [medical marijuana advocate]: You talked about abortion rights and how you trust people to make their own choices. Do you support the choice of cancer patients to use medical marijuana?
RUDY: No, I don't think a cancer patient should use marijuana. There are other options.
Sad. I guess it's live free or die from not being able to choke down your AIDS meds — and Rudy's not on the live-free side.
