McCain Death Watch: Ron Paul Edition

Via Reason's David Weigel, we learn that John McCain is behind Ron Paul in the money race.
OK, not in money raised — but in cash on hand. Mr. McCain has $2 million. Mr. Paul has $2.4 million.
ABC also writes it up here. This puts Mr. Paul a distant, distant third in cash-on-hand, behind Rudy Giuliani, who has $18 million, and Mitt Romney, who has $12 million.
This doesn't mean Mr. Paul's a serious candidate, of course — just baiting the Paul folks, here, and waiting for the angry comments to flood in — but, then again, neither is Mr. McCain.
