The phrase "the YouTube campaign" has been thrown around a bit this election cycle to denote the influence of short Internet videos in the presidential race at large.
It may, however, be a phrase better applied to Fred Thompson's effort. Robert Novak reports that Thompson will announce via video — and Mr. Novak says the idea came from Newt Gingrich.
