Yet More Thompson Donors

The Internet's great for this stuff... Here's the Washington Post's blog with a few more interesting tidbits from the Thompson filing:
* Roughly half of Fred Thompson's cash came from Tennessee.
* McCain finance chairman Fred Malek's wife, Marlene, is listed as having donated $2,300 to the Thompson effort.
* Also: "former Tennessee Gov. Don Sundquist (R-Tenn.) and his wife Martha. Sundquist is detested in the Republican base due to his advocacy for a state income tax during his time as governor."
Meanwhile, the St. Petersburg Times notes that Mr. Thompson raised little cash in Florida. The Thompson folks raised just $150,000 in the Sunshine State — not a great sign for a campaign that's placing a lot of importance on Florida's January 29 primary.
