While we're on the subject of Fred Thompson (OK, we have been for two weeks, but a new candidate is news), here are a few more items:
* On the eve of Mr. Thompson's Sunshine State debut in Jacksonville, I take a look at why a couple of big players just came out for Mitt Romney (hint: disorganization and getting into the race late play a part).
* Mr. Thompson jumps 6 points, while Rudy Giuliani holds steady, in the latest NBC/WSJ poll.
* Meanwhile, Mr. Thompson takes a commanding lead in Georgia.
