Mayor Bloomberg, facing reporters for the first time since the Associated Press reported on Wednesday that he is conducting extensive polling and voter analysis in all 50 states, denied yet again that he is a candidate for president and ducked three questions about the polling effort. "No matter how many times you ask the question, I'm not a candidate," Mr. Bloomberg said this morning during a press conference at a school in Harlem, when asked if he is paying for national polling right now. "That's the answer. I can't go into nit picking. This is ridiculous." When a reporter asked earlier why he is collecting polling research and data if he's not running for president, Mr. Bloomberg said: "I didn't say I was collecting the polling research, you just said that."
