Gaffe of the Night: 'Sarah Pawlenty'

A co-chairwoman of the Republican National Committee and the head of the committee which planned the party's convention, Jo Ann Davidson, just muffed Senator McCain's pick for vice president, referring to Governor Palin of Alaska as "Sarah Pawlenty, our next vice president."
Ms. Davidson's gaffe, which fused Mr. McCain's choice with one of the top possibilities predicted by pundits, Governor Pawlenty of Minnesota, came in one of the first floor speeches in day two of the convention in St. Paul, Minn.
