Those long stretches of green are a favorite place for charities to bring in the green in the summer months. Today: Autism Speaks is at the Winged Foot Golf Club; at the Canoe Brook Country Club the birdies will be benefiting Special Olympics of New Jersey,; the Uniformed Firefighters Association Scholarship Fund is up at Lake Success, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City can be found at Quaker Ridge Golf Club. Goody bags are nice but there's nothing quite like a charity golf tournament trophy.
