That talented, gorgeous soprano Renee Fleming has released her 2006-2007 schedule. SHe'll be traveling to Rome, Bangkok, Shanghei, Vienna, Lucerne, Barcelona, Seattle -- but us New Yorkers know the Juilliard graduate's home is here.
And she will be in New York: On December 21 in a Christmas concert at Carnegie Hall with the Orchestra of St. Luke's; on January 17 at Avery Fisher Hall in a New York Philharmonic tribute to Toscanini at CArnegie Hall; on February 9, 13, 17, 20, 24 (matinee), 28 and March 3 at the Metropolitan Opera in Eugene Onegin, conducted by Valery Gergiev, and on May 3 at Avery Fisher Hall in a concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Ms. Fleming also has a CD coming out this fall from Decca, a collection of 19th and early 20th-century arias.
