As the year comes to a close, I've been day dreaming about all the parties I've covered. The slide show running through my head includes: 1. Brightly colored gowns -- more than I've seen in years past. I' give it a thumbs up. 2. Feathers on gowns, which certainly add flare but I'm not so sure about. 3. Beef -- mercifully not overcooked and unaccompanied by potatoes. 4. Cute tote bags as goody bags. It's so tacky walking out of a black-tie gala with a shopping bag, even if it's from some fancy designer boutique. But my Target tote made of a recycled billboard once displayed in Times Square makes me happy. 5. Lots of great smiles: kudos to dental health in New York. I've loaded up lots of photos I've taken into a photo gallery on the Web, from which you can order prints.Take a look: You just might find your day in the Sun -- which in my book is a great way to remember 2007.
