IMG_0139aweb.jpg Olivia Chantecaille & Andelina Wong Ettelson will be undercover tonight at the ball they've planned for Save Venice. Olvia Chantecaille has arranged "a treat" tomorrow night for the chairwomen and vice-chairwomen of the Save Venice gala: a pre-party beauty prep session at the penthouse at Barneys using her company's products. "Then we'll all walk around the corner to the Metropolitan Club," where the party is being held, Ms. Chantecaille said. Too bad all that makeup will be hidden: this is after all the Red & White Masked Ball, based on a party Cole Porter threw in Venice. And faces will be covered with fancy masks designed by Ross Bleckner, Christian Lacroix, J. Mendel, Carlos Miele, Rodarte, Rachel Roy, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Earnest Sewn, Peter Som, Tocca, Ungaro, and Alvin Valley. Bet they won't stay on for long. The ball is organized by Young Friends of Save Venice to raise funds for the restoration of the frescoes, altar, and sculpture in the Doge's Private Chapel in the Ducal Palace in Venice.
