A Ladylike Touch Prevails in Oscar Show

Oscar de la Renta did what he does best: ladylike clothes with verve — the sort that attract celebs like Jennifer Lopez, who was present and radiant.
The evening gowns came in black, but also in embroidered bright prints. Day looks featured some muted tans or shades such as oyster accented with navy. A stunning white linen gown with cutouts seemed perfect for Caribbean island entertaining.
