Buckminster Fuller's '2,4,6,7 . . . Frequency, Probably Alternate Method, Spherical Geodesic Octahedron' (c. 1960-63).
BAROQUE BALLET The Lane & Co. dance-theater company presents "O! Balleto," a multidisciplinary piece that explores themes such as love and seduction, and concludes with a twist. The company's artistic director, Lane Gifford, choreographed the 40-minute piece, which is part of the New York International Fringe Festival. JUST A MATTER OF TIME Film Forum screens Maria Anna Tappeiner's documentary "Richard Serra: Thinking on Your Feet" (2005), a portrait of the American Minimalist sculptor. The film follows the creation and construction of Mr. Serra's installation "The Matter of Time," commissioned by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. CHEATING HEARTS IFC Center screens "A Lesson in Love" (1954), as part of its series Ingmar Bergman: "Film is the Great Adventure." The comedy, directed by Bergman, follows a wife (Eva Dahlbeck) who, fed up with her philandering husband (Gunnar Björnstrand), travels to Copenhagen to have an affair with an ex-fiancé.
