Recent Success Complicates Nets' Future

Submitted by Benoit Denis, Jan 31, 2007 18:16

3 main reasons:

1- I dont think Miami will repeat this year, and other than detroit (as a maybe), I don't see any favorites in the east.

2- I think if Vince Carter can substain his offensive insertness for the rest of the season (even when RJ and kristic are back) the Nets are a better team, And hopefully he is realizing it himself. A determined, a little more selfish Vince Carter is ALOT better then a confused, trying to "fit in" VC.

3- JKidd. The guy seems to only be getting better, I think they should take a run at it this season. The only reason to trade someone really would be VC's contract situation after the season, but then again, to have ANY kind of shot in the playoffs, they will need Vince Carter, and the agressive VC that we are seeing now, no matter who is on the court with him.
