"While it is clear that the governor hasn't abandoned the "send more money and then we'll be able to fix the schools" mentality that has given incompetent educrats excuses for years, there is a clear linkage between more funds and performance that is right on target."

I hope you are blaming the incompetent idiots in Albany in the State Ed Department and those legislators who are responsible for gving them the impetus for the dumbing down of the schools with those inane state tests. They are destroying education in this state and driving teachers and pincipals crazy with all the useless recordkeeping the state requires. Soon the only people who will find teaching interesting and rewarding are people you don't WANT teaching OR administering in our schools.
