Teachers now do actually make decent money. I enjoy reading that they spend minimal time working and 'ease into retirement.' These myths are fantastic in their scope. I have been teaching for 10 years, and I have yet to see more than 10% of any staff I've been on leave at 3pm and have nothing to do. I work in a high school and, if you'd like, you can come over and help me read the 238 New York Regents format essays that have to have a grade by tomorrow morning. Good times!!
