Tho, I do agree with Donovan that one should personally look at the data, not hard for the layman to do in the information age, he should take his own advice. He will find the evidence , so far, shows that in spite of the substantial, one third increase in CO2 in the past half century, temperature increases are slow and benign, consistent with previous changes. One can only conclude that there is no "global warming", in the catastrophic sense, and that it is unlikely that there will be any.
Now, think about this, the summary (i.e. conclusion) was released before the actual study, in case any changes need to be made in the study to support the conclusion. This is Allice in Wonderland science. The Red Queen insists on verdict first; then the trial.
