I would like to highlight the reference in this article to the fact that the UN/NY Staff Union does represent the entire UN system. Those of us serving outside the NY duty station have our own unions and did not have a voice in the resolution of no confidence. Further, we do indeed have confidence in the reforms proposed and the current managerial team.
