The Wicked West
in response to reader comment: Disgust

There is plenty of disgust to spread around, to every corner and crevice of this planet inhabited by the naked ape--every society, every culture--no matter the kinky shroud of god-deluded religious mythology masking it all. In the arena of "Western Decadence," we see, in unholy matrimony, affluence (the means) and the will ("no-limits" or "post-modern" individualism). The wretched offspring? Hordes of naked ape clowns dancing about exposing their more gross appetites, proclivities, behaviors.

Common sense will return. It always does. Because the antithesis is insupportable. But the delivery service will not be Muslim fanaticism. It will be an economic depression wielding the lash of discipline, the tight rein of behavioral control. And it's on the way.

Meanwhile, we can enjoy the thoughtful responses to "The Wicked West." I certainly do. And I liked the idea of a bonfire of the vanities. Don't forget to throw in that trailer slag, Paris Hilton.
