Does anyone out there realize that the anti-war left cannot allow a win in Iraq. They have bet everything on it. It is their ticket back to the WH> Can you imagine if Bush pulls off a victory or what appears to be a victory in the public eye? They have no other issue. Have you heard any proposal from any of them that might result in a military victory? Nada, nothing! Redeploy, pull out, phased withdrawal, no more troops, stop funding, no confidence vote, Remember, they have been bad-mouthing the war effort from the first month, not after 4 years as they claim. Do you think perhaps these war bashers may have a little to do with the hardening efforts of the insurgents? Do you think a resolution passed by the US Congress might embolden them just a tad more. I repeat, they cannot allow anything resembling a victory in Iraq. They could not survive that politically.

Sooo it's about regaining political power, not what is right. They did it in Viet Nam. They denied the horrific fallout from that and will deny the mass slaughter that results from this. They will blame Bush..Ask Jane Fonda, she'll tell you Sam Russo,MD
