"Mr. Jacobs said the Department of Education is working with investigators to develop a monitoring agreement for future contracts with Platform."
Does Mr. Jacobs actually think we believe him? After all, not all New Yorkers are products of an inept public school system.
The real question to ask is not "Why $55 million went unreported?" Ask: "Who, within the public school bureaucracy, got paid-off to divert the funds to Platform Learning?"
This is New York City, and the word "corruption" was defined by the traditions of this city's government officials --- elected, appointed and the ones receiving civil service protection --- all the way back to Tammany Hall!
