A couple sitting next to us asked at the intermission if they heard Hebrew being sung during the performance of the Dybbuck.
To assume that a ballet about Jewish folklore need not have this mentioned in a handout is not right.
In addition, a handout (along with the outouts about everything to do with ballet) with an explanation of Jewish symbols in the set and on the costumes would enhance the enjoyment and understanding of the piece.
Education and culture are important.
