I can actually sympathize a little with these people. There's a subway on the corner near me and every time I pass near it I notice a very strong, sickly sweet, and nauseating smell. I reminds me of baking pizza, but the nuances of the smell are so artificial and powerful I can understand how it would make you feel sick if exposed to it for a long period of time. I hope these people and Subway are able to amicably resolve the situation somehow.
