The Commission of a Special Prosecutor,.entrusted unto a Lawyer by whatever Federal High Officials are seeking vengeance or the emasculation of opposing policies, amounts to a BILL OF ATTAINDER, a political weapon expessly forbidden by the Federal Constitution. The newly endowed Special Prosecutor must convict some one, or be accounted a failure. Justice, or the subdueing of a political crisis, are seldom the defined, recorded objectives of the newly fledged Special Prosecutor. Convictions, upheld by the Appeals Courts, are the strongly preferred options. The Supreme Court of these United States should vacate every conviction obtained by a Special Prosecutor. These cases are too frequently the fruit of political and policy disagreements, cases that are best resolved in the Ballot Box and not in the Courtroom.
