Russia's Putin and Ivanov's plans to produce and perhaps exceed `quick reaction' military parity with the West is long overdue - this will contain a rogue `Neo-Con' view of the world via the US military in place of Euro-Atlantic diplomacy to solve modern crisis. Chinese modernization and advancement will also help stem the tide of Western-style `forced democratization' across Asia also ... and rightfully so ... all these nations `will get there' as they say - but we cannot speed up the process unnaturally !!! The United States of America is a Republic founded to foster the ideas of our forefathers, that included political and religious freedom as it's basis - we cannot act as the `World Police' or should we go and `create democracy by force' as we have tried in Afghanistan and Iraq ... and we all see where those experiments are going !!! It is only our obligation as citizens of the Earth that allow us to help our fellow Earthlings in peaceful and transparent ways - there are many cultures on our planet and most are not White-Anglo-Saxon Protestant. No offense to anyone ... as I am a Roman Catholic ... but I still do not defend a Church who's Popes have sent Crusades of children to reclaim Jerusalem from the Caliphates ... in my view all religion is considered equal in the eyes of God, Allah, Buddha ... whatever !!! And sorry evangelicals ... Mr. Lenin was right about one thing ... organized religion can indeed become the opiate of the masses ... billions of people and thousands of cultures around the world have suffered because of its abuse !!!
