Lawmakers Meet To Discuss Workers' Compensation Changes

Why in one sentence do you use the correct terminolgy "permanent partial disability" while in the next sentence you elect "persistant injury" like a 'LINGERING COUGH". Even if an injured worker returned to work, their benefits are based strictly on economic loss, ie the difference between their earning capacity before and after the accident. Would you prefer injured workers who have suffered an economic loss of earning power became the responsibillty of the State via Welfare/public assistance instead of private insurance carriers who already have healthy profit margins. Time to rethink your "slant" on the issue or perhaps just be a little more informed about your subject matter.
