Well, the concert has come and gone, and Yusuf played 3 lovely songs. Two from the new album and "Peace Train" By his side was Alun Davies, his friend and guitarist from the 70's who played at all the Cat Stevens' concerts in the 70's. Do you really think Alun would play concerts with Yusuf if all the awful things said about Yusuf were true? It is really sad when people read neo-conservative right-wing websites and believe all the garbage that they write about people. If you did any research into Yusuf, you would see what good works he has done in the world, helping orphans and victims of wars and natual disasters. He has received many awards for his humanitarian efforts, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Gloucestershire in the U.K. in 2005. The chancellor of the university is the former Archbishop of Canterbury. Do you really think a university like that would award him an honorary degree if they thought he was a terrorist? In 2004 he received the prestigious "Man of Peace" award from a committe of previous Nobel Prize winners. This is only a couple, among many awards.

Now doesn't Yusuf Islam seem an obvious choice for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert"? Obviously the best choice.
