Campus Polarization

As a fellow Barnard graduate and a fellow pro-life feminist, I send my kudos to Ms. DeRosa. She points out that the Center for Research on Women scrutinizes "everything from immigration to hip-hop through a gender lens." The agenda gets tiring. Some of my best friends are men! To focus on relativism as a guiding principle is not only self-serving but negates the absolute Judaeo-Christian values that many undergraduates aspired to before they arrived on campus. To deny the moral implications of the biological fact that a new human life begins the moment the 23 chromosomes from the sperm penetrate into the ovum with its 23 chromosomes, lacks integrity - the truth that is supposed to set us free.
