Campus Polarization

Submitted by Claude Bogardus, Feb 15, 2007 17:21

The blue-noses and busy-bodies among us have ever wanted to define the orthodoxy for all the rest of us. Perhaps it's because they care for our salvation. Maybe. I have noticed that, nestled deep within the message of campus diversity, there is also the same shameful, dirty joy that medieval bigots derived from compelling the local Jews to kiss the stone likeness of the Sow Of Gratz. You must, they imply, pretend to BELIEVE, even though we all know differently. And rejoice that we only humiliate you. Some of us do recall the pogrom at WACO a mere decade ago. It was for the Children.
