Mexican Farmhands Cite Faults In U.S. Guest Worker Program

Coming from Mid West Parents, Texas & Oklahoma I heard that similar actions took place in California during the "Grapes of Wrath" era. There were rules, there were laws, they were not properly enforced.
Possibly because of the enormous numbers involved in the movement without proper prior planning.
We have a similar numbers problems today. We are being overwhelmed with foreign illegal immigration that eats up our abilities to properly handle situations. Some examples in California that suffer: law enforcement, prison overcrowding, jail overcrowding (largest group illegals), schools overcrowding, hospitals going bankrupt, social services strained across the board.
Unlike the Mid West Era (our very own people) we now receive europeans, asians, latinos, that could be easily kept out. We should take away the "Fat American" syndrome and have our very own people do menial labor at a substantial lessor social cost.

Food For Thought, Wesley
