Sure, Ayn Rand called Libertarians "hippies of the right", but by her reconing all adherents of even remotely succesfull political philosophies would be hippies of the right, left or center since pragmatic voters have ideas of what they want to attain and not granite-hewn rules of how thinking is to be done. Being labelled a hippie by Rand is a necessary prerequisite for attaning anything in the real world an communicating with any real people.
