Lawmakers Meet To Discuss Workers' Compensation Changes

Submitted by M. Jeffords, Feb 17, 2007 21:27

Journalism has been dead for decades. Every article on Workers' Compensation gives the one sided view of the Business Council. Apparently they are the only opinion that matters to newspapers these days. This AP reporter just quotes a representative from the insurance industry and Unshackle Upstate with the name that sounds like they represent real people.

This Workers' Compensation deform effort is nothing but corporate America feeding at the public trough of corporate welfare. The Business Council wants to bring us back to slave labor times with no benefits and the taxpayer footing the bill while they rip off the public and collect the profits. I'd love to meet an honest businessman and insurer but they don't exist. We are not a Democracy. Our politicians are bought and paid for and our media is no better than Pravda.
