Sec. of the Treasury Morganthau, repeatedly, implored FDR to let the 8th Air Force bomb the rail links to Auschwitz/Treblinka.
Daily bombing runs to Berlin & Eastern Germany were started in 1943...a stones' throw away.
FDR refused.
He asked Churchill.
He refused.
Both share the spillover guilt for mass murder.
