N.Y. Lawmaker Freezes $86M Meant for Abbas

I appreciate the US administration's position regarding the most recent attempt to unite political factions into a unity government in the Palestinian territory. It is very simple: unless the leadership of the Palestinian people accept that Israel has a right to exist and are willing to put an end to violent attempts to destroy Israel, they should not be considered anything but a terrorist organization. As long as Palestinian leaders believe they have a right to exist but Israel has no right to exist, they should not be given the status of nationhood, as they are nothing more than a group of terrorist thugs and criminals united in a common goal to destroy Israel, kill innocent civilians, and use all possible manipulations of the media to portray Israel as The Aggressor and the Palestinians as The Victim in the conflict. There is no moral equivalency between Palestinian acts of terror on innocent civilians and Israel's position towards the Palestinian people: Israel has made clear that the Palestinian people have a right to have their own land and nationhood, while the Palestinians have made clear they refuse Israel the right to their own land and nationhood.
