The Borjas Blame Game

George Borajes of Harvard University you stated or wrote uses variable information, like employment, wages, education, incarceration rates and immigration etc but at least it has a direct effect, no matter how minimal it is. You did point out other factors in your article which are all accurate, but you also forgot to mention that all this changes has being proven to biased against minorities and low income people (and it seemed to be affecting the African American and Latinos more than any other group in society). Finally in your conclusion "excuse me if am rude" but you make no sense to me, what does immigration effects on incarceration on African Americans have to do with Irag and Hurricane Katerina, I guess you are trying to make a point that immigration has nothing to with the incarceration rates of African Americans (MINORITIES) but in your article you showed a "direct link" even if its only 1%. I hope this is not just a % game to you because when it comes to the "social welfare" of a nation or community, its just not the numbers that count. In the African American community the rate of incarceration is a serious problem and anything that adds to it, is a treat to our existence no matter how small. Thanks
