OK I dont see it exactly the same way as you, but a couple of points need to be made.

If Gore has exaggerated global warming, is that so different than any other issue. I dont think NYC will be underwater, but Gore has made his point...and now almost everyone gets it. Even if you like global warming, the solution to it would have us not use foreign fuels, that funds our enemies..even republicans who are against Gore see the wisdom of being off of foreign fuels.

The thing about the war, to be blunt, is that we havent won. Like it or not, if we had won, things would be somewhat better for the republicans (particularly if we were progressing off foreign oil). Gore looks wise for avoiding losing.

No other candidate on either side looks to have a comprehensive solution or the status to deal with problems that Gore has. I wish he would reconsider.
