It's a sad day for America and the world, if US decides to go back the "containment" foreign policy of pervious American administrations. The reason we have the problems in the Middle East IS because of our containment policy of 70's and 80's. So we are back in supporting dictatorship and turning our backs to human right's issue. Americans want happy ending within a short period of time. Well, this is a REAL world and not some kind of Hollywood created soap opera!
Morally, Bush's foreign policy was the best any American leader has offered to the world, too bad American don't have the patience and the hypocritical world leader did not have the vision to see the future. Ok, then, lets us make friends with Mullahs in Iran and have tea with Syrian leaders and yes, Iraq will stabilized! Guaranteed! …..But what will be the cost to Americans in the longer-term? Do we care to ponder? Or we are too short sighted to care … Mullahs are happy today! Democrats and Liberals can rejoice!
