Ignoring Chavez's Plan

Something is better than nothing. "Write, that something stays" said a writer years ago. This article says only a few aspects of reality. We need gallons of ink and the entire nyt. just to say a little more that has not been said. So many atroceous things have to be said that it is impossible to summarize here, so, I recommend the NYT to carry out a small investigation about the truth and then continue this article that comes out too late but, better late than never. Mr Carter and Mr Gaviria's actitude the day of the referendum towards the decent venezuelans was a dirty stab in the back. We could not beleive our eyes and ears, their misconduct was so obvious favoring chavez and his party that everyone now more than dislikes him. They should never ever come back, not even for fishing. Now it is too late, he is screwed down to the antipods and it will take more than a generation to overcome the damage given that everything goes well. "Jhony came lately" and the entire continent will suffer very much including the US for decades. I wished it was given at least the attention you gave to the "bird flu" H5N1 virus.-
