Park Ave. Church Is Seeking To Host Bar Mitzvahs, Liquor

Christian Scientists, in sincerity and humility, follow Christ to best of their abilities--not through mere ceremonies or festivities, but in daily living. Those in their congregation who would rent out a church for liquor and parties have the name, but not the nature, of Christ, and thus should not be called true Christians or true Christian Scientists. Did the prophets and apostles organize their believers through entertainment? We can leave these people to their own actions, which certainly will not advance mankind as true religion always seeks to do.

"God is no respecter of persons," the Bible tells us, so if a church member is famous actress or a man of modest means, it makes no difference. The important question is, where is a person's heart?
