The artist/painter, Richard Beckett was Barbara Toll's high profile artist, when joe showed there in the early ' 80's.

Beckett was probably a greater influence on Fife than artists you cite.

These collage paintings,look expedient in that they are planned so a lot of work can be made without a lot of time necessary. Dont know F's day job but these works look a little breezy.
