Chasli: How many times has President Bush spelled out the definition of victory in Iraq?

He's stated numerous times that VICTORY is an "Iraq that can govern itself, defend itself and sustain itself as an ally on the war on terror."

You can point out all the deficiencies in this scenario all day long. But one thing is clear: anything approaching victory is certainly preferable to the carnage in Iraq and utter defeat and weakening of the United States that would follow a precipitate withdrawal.

P.S. Before the November election Senator Schumer claimed that "Democrats want to win the war" in Iraq. Is this another case of a Democrat FOR something before he was AGAINST it?
