i lived in the bronx area of norwood or as we used to call it bainbridge in the late 80s.i remember a area dominated mainly by irish or irish americans.plehty of bars maybe to many on a few blocks far to much temptation for a young man with no family waiting at home.still remember the long journey home on the subway seemed to take forever worst still in the hot weather.back in europe now but have fond memories of the old area, regards to every who lives in the area all the best from an old bronxite.
